Contract & Finance Committee

The Contract and Finance Committee oversees the SHARP payor contracting process as well as clinic vendor service agreements. This committee also approves the SHARP budget.

Contract and Finance meetings are held as needed.

 

Credentialing Committee

The Credentialing Committee recommends healthcare providers for SHARP membership. This committee is also responsible for reviewing and making recommendations for changes to the Credentialing Bylaws.

 

 

Nominating & Bylaws Committee

The Nominating and Bylaws Committee recommends nominees for election as officers and directors of SHARP. In addition to elections, the committee reviews and recommends any changes to the SHARP bylaws.

Nominating and Bylaws meetings are held as needed.

 

Physician Health Committee

The Physician Health Committee meets at the discretion of the Credentialing Committee to review the files/conduct of a healthcare provider. This review may occur during the process of credentialing or re-credentialing or if an issue arises.

UR/QA Committee

The Utilization Review/Quality Assurance (UR/QA) Committee seeks to monitor the appropriateness of care provided by doctors and facilities that participate in the SHARP network. The UR/QA committee reviews details such as in-patient admission, length of stay and patient care.

Meetings are held second Tuesday bi-monthly at 7am at SHARP.  Breakfast is provided.

 

SHARP Membership Meetings

Meetings are held twice a year at 5:00 p.m. in the SBMC Auditorium.
